The hotel's private collection outlines the history and traditions of the epoch in this remote part of the world, showing the importance the cold-storage plant had in the economic development not only of Puerto Natales but the whole of The Patagonia. The British made machinery, which dates from early twentieth century have been meticulously restored to its original order. During certain time of the year, wine and also beer tastings are offered. The special event is a highlight and has visitors that just make the trip from Punta Arenas via Helicopter to the Hotel.
